Pacific Lutheran University, Tacoma har en historisk samling som de kaller for "Scandinavian Immigrant Experience Collection". Her finnes det blant annet intervjuer tatt opp på bånd fra en rekke Skandinaviske innvandrere fra Danmark, Finnland, Island, Norge og Sverige med spesiell vekt på innvandrerkvinner. Tapene som er lagt over på CD, kan man få tilsendt i sin helhet hvis man pårope seg en nytte av dem. En oppsummering fra noen av  intervjuene er lagt ut på Internett med gode søkeord slik at man kan finne dem vha. søkemotor. Dessuten er utdrag fra 45 av intervjuene samlet i ei bok redigert av professor Jane E. Rasmussen. Denne kan lånes via bibliotek i Norge.
